Pandda's Menagerie of Music

The Full Sail Electronic Dance Music Club had an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) presentation at the treehouse on February 13, 2018. The keynote speaker at the event was Blake Denney, a student in the Music Production Degree Program at Full Sail. He is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and he has been producing music for over 7 years.

Even though he suffers from Cerebral Palsy (CP), he doesn’t let it stop him from making incredible music.

Denney, who attended Georgia State University to study Neuroscience prior to Full Sail, had realized his love of music from a young age listening to R&B and Blues. He is not only a talented music producer he is a phenomenal guitar and piano player. He currently has his own record label called Menagerie Records where he continues to make EDM tracks.

In the presentation, he talked about his creative process for making music and what got him into making EDM tracks. According to Denny, after hearing Missy Elliot’s song Lose Control, he wanted to learn how to make that type of music. Participants in the panel also had the privilege to listen to some of his work. One of the tracks he played was a remix of the song “Blue September” that he completed in only 8 consecutive hours. Denney said, “Utopian Dream is my favorite track. I put a lot of heart in that track.” Blake Denney is also known as Pandda Music.

On February 14 at 3:00pm on the music stage Blake Denney amazed the crowd with his guitar and piano skills. He had a small group in front of the stage dancing and grooving to his music.
