No, but it’s close- “it’s the taste of two cities.”

"From a Philadelphia cheesesteak to a Chicago italian sausage, you will feel like you are in either of those places - but you get to choose!"

Jim Guerino, ‘The Top Dog’, “my best-friend and I always watched sporting events together, and we would always talk about what the first thing we did when we went home. He was from Philly, and I am from Chicago”

“We decided to bring together two cultures and create one concept out of it,” he said.

I opted for the Combo, which includes: Italian beef and sausage, with your choice of sweet

or hot peppers. Having my family come from Chicago, and knowing all the best spots to get a beef sandwich, I was quick to notice that it was prepared a little different from the joints I’ve visited. In Chicago, you will always find the full sausage, instead they cut the italian sausage in half. It had flavors that reminded me of home, and it was still yummy!!!

“Our top seller would be between our philly cheesesteak with cheddar cheese sauce which is made in house, or the italian beef that is slow roasted. These are both headliners for each city,” said Guerino.

What makes Chi - Phi so different is that they use hand cut ribeye for their philly cheesesteak, and they slow roast their italian sausage, in house.

This is Chi-Phi’s third year at Hall of Fame, and their fifth year in business. Come out and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed! For more information please visit: www.eatchiphi.com
