At first glance, Hall of Fame Nine seemed to be starting slowly. Due to Monday being the first day of panels and most outside festivities , everyone is still prepping for how jam packed the week is going to be. Therefore Monday was based around building up the hype for the anticipation of the rest of week.
There was plenty to experience. The front half of the parking lot is full of interesting and exciting games such as gigantic jenga and a silent disco. There is so much art being expressed from people painting an art wall and even doing chalk art on parking spots. I watched my friend, Maria, sit in a parking spot and draw a heart with chalk. It was really awesome to watch Maria and laugh along.
"There is plenty of places for photo opportunities where my friends and I took advantage of posing together."

There is plenty of places for photo opportunities where my friends and I took advantage of posing together. There is a monarch butterfly in the window of 3B to stand in front of and give yourself monarch wings. It was absolutely beautiful and it is such an amazing idea to get the word out about the importance of monarch butterflies. There is the word “nine” made out of different colored paper rolled up where I posed with three of my friends. All of the pictures came out full of smiles and laughter because we were just having a good time.
The career expo was the main highlight of Monday’s Hall of Fame events. While

there was so many events , I still got overviews from many companies about the kinds of employees they are looking for. There was some really cool swag that was being given out. My friend was given a fanny pack from a production company and I even saw people with toy cars that had company names on them. The idea of the career expo was great.
My day ended with a presentation from David Rosenthal, a musical director and touring professional who has worked with Billy Joel as his main keyboardist for twenty five years. Rosenthal spoke of the evolution of his career and how he got to where he is now. Something that really stuck out to me that he said was “networking is the core of everything.” Hall of Fame is really the place to network and with Rosenthal saying that, time here at Full Sail comes full circle.
Monday was full of the excitement that has been brewing. I was enthralled by the enthusiasm in the air and amount of events that happened here today. What was your favorite part of the Monday?
