Stepping foot on the grounds of Full Sail University, you see the stages are set, the tents are pitched, and the crowds are beginning to grow as the students continue to come together. The week has just begun, and the overwhelming nature of understanding where you want to go or where you need to be has hitched up a notch as you ready yourself for the events and activities. But as you wander around and take in the sights, be prepared for what you’re about to see as the lines form and disperse across campus.
From interactive games to panels and food trucks, it’s a struggle to find your way to the proper place to be for what you’ve set yourself up to do. But the school has created useful tools to help you navigate through the maze that is the campus during this full week, such as the HOF9 Survival Guide and downloading the HOF9 Events app. With the names of big companies and even bigger personas floating off the tongues of your neighbors, it’s important to remain calm, collected, and ready to give off the best impression you possibly can. Because at the end of the day, you never know who could be wandering around as you patiently wait for your turn at the table!

With each individual event, students are corralled into queues, to ensure ease of access and overall controlled organization. But at some points, it’s hard to know which area your line is even starting at, particularly for panels in certain rooms! But if you are ever in need of help be sure to reach out to any individual wearing a black Hall of Fame shirt, which indicates their position as event staff who would be more than willing to give you a hand. These are fellow students and instructors who have taken the initiative to be a part of the event to ensure that every student gets the most out of their personal experiences.
As the week continues, be sure that you know where you are headed and to get in line early! For some events, arriving up to thirty minutes early can be an advantage for you and ensure your seat in a good location. But not only that, certain panels only allow a specific number of people in, which means wristbands are being distributed to
anyone walking up to queue! We have tons of students and alumni who want to reach out and receive the same information as the next person, and it’s important that you stake your claim for your spot. Be sure to have your Hall of Fame Survival Guide on hand, the Events App downloaded because it’s go time, and the fun’s just started!
Keep yourself updated and schedule ahead with the Hall of Fame 9 app for iPhones and android and also follow our social media for latest happenings.
