The time has arrived! Full Sail University is ready to start the great celebration, the event we wait for every year… Our Hall of Fame! This year, we started the party earlier with Grammys night, a magical night for the Full Sail community. Full Sail had forty nine graduates who worked on projects that were nominated. Because the students, the staff, and the faculty know that Full Sail leaves its mark on the Grammys, every year everyone is patiently waiting for this exciting night, a special occasion where we all get together to honor the hard work of crazy talented professionals who create the music that we all love. Let’s talk about some of the things we did at the Grammys party here at Full Sail University.
All the students were invited to walk on our very own red carpet and get interviewed and pose for pictures. This is very special because everyone dresses up really nice, and it definitely makes us feel like we’re actually at the Grammys. Once we were interviewed, we went inside the Full Sail Live building and picked our seats. Oh, there’s also lots of snacks inside the venue, so that makes the entire experience even cooler. Before the show started, two

wonderful instructors (one from Recording Arts, and one from Film) introduced themselves as the hosts of our viewing party, and during commercials they selected random tickets and called students to go on stage and play games. All of these games were related to the Grammys nominations. Some students had to spell the names of different artists, others had to play charades to guess the names of the albums nominated for Album of the Year, and there were some other crazy games. It’s was pretty fun, and even if the students didn’t get the right answer, they were rewarded with cool prizes. I have to say though, most of the students knew everything about the artists and the music that was being celebrated.
The evening was over, and seventeen graduates got to take Grammys home. Everyone at Full Sail was very proud. It was definitely a night to remember. Let’s keep enjoying this award season as we approach our phenomenal Hall of Fame Nine!
