Hall of Fame week is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the day is slowing down. In fact it is just moving faster and the energy level is only getting higher. One of the first panels of the day was “Filmmaking From Beginning To End: Editing to Post Production” hosted by Michael Orlowski, and it was a full house.
The panel consisted of Visual Effects artist Cully Bunker, Sound Editor and Designer David Farmer, TV and Movie producer Priscilla Rojas and Sound Mixer/Editor Frank Schuering. The panelists covered every phase of post production that goes into making a film.
Cully Bunker shed light on the visual effects that needs to be added to films and the steps they go through to deal with the “fix it in the post” situations.
David Farmer shared his experience he gained from several years in creating and editing sounds and effects. Frank Scheuring added on the same topic with his own experiences and methods of working.
Priscilla Rojas explained how all the post production works and how to deal with various situations from a producer’s perspective.
All the panelists shared their methods of working in their fields and dealing with clients and walked through their processes in completing a job.
Quick Q&A phases added to the session with thoughtful questions from the attendees. The session can be seen in full on Full Sail’s YouTube page here.
