We ventured out and talked to some clubs while we were exploring Hall of Fame. One of the clubs that was interesting was the Distributive Education Clubs of America. Here is our interview with the DECA club.
Leyton Blackwell: For people who don’t know what is DECA as a club?
DECA: DECA is a business club, so what we do is that there is a business competition that you attend every year. What the competition is, is that in the business world they give you a problem and it’s your job to solve it. Then you solve it and present your solution to a panel of judges. This can range in topics from business ethics to marketing to marketing management to accounting and topics like that.
Leyton Blackwell: What is DECA doing at Hall of Fame with their booth?
DECA: So, what DECA is doing right now is that we have our plinko board and we are letting everyone who walks by play and they get a chance to win DECA swag. We are also selling our newly printed DECA shirt which is Strangers Things themed and they are $20 bucks a pop. Please buy one! Also, we are accepting donations as well because our international competition is coming up next month.
Make sure to stop by the DECA booth and show some support by copping one of their awesome shirts!
